Add SSL to the site

At a minimum, logins should be over ssl

    As a possible solution to the which certificate authority overlord to trust issue let me offer a possible alternative: http://www.cacert.org/ .

    Although it's root certificate is not installed by default in any browser yet, it's arguably secure (probably more so than other cheap certificate authorities), and free. It's community structure/governance might be a perfect fit for a distributed service like rstat.us.

    @wm_eddie CAcert is default installed on at least Debian

    Otherwise startssl is cheap-to-free depending on how they view your project. Always free for personal use at least.
